Ivy School covers excellent education from Preschool through Middle School, ranging in age one to fifteen. There are four division of the school: Preschool, Kindergarten, Elementary, and Middle School. These four distinct supportive divisions are formed within the larger community of the entire IVY School system providing an excellent, safe and nurturing support system for each school division.
Ivy school programs carefully considers all aspects of a student's development: cognitive, emotional, character, social, and physical. We believe that student can best acquire a rich body of knowledge and the skills needed for future learning through a curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and supported by highest quality US researches on education that builds upon itself year by year. It is our hope that our curriculum is an expression of Ivy school’s mission, which is to inspire a love of learning, to build self-confidence, and to foster in our students the ability and desire to contribute to their community.
We realize that the years of a student's academic life at Ivy are crucial ones in establishing positive attitudes and tendencies toward life time love of learning. We value a young child's natural desire to learn through creativity and self-expression. We strive to build upon our students' curiosity, while instilling in them the fear of God, a spirit of cooperation, a respect for others and for their ideas, and a satisfaction in personal character and intellectual growth.
Classroom instruction is complemented by weekly participation in a variety of special subject areas. These include character building based on biblical values, math, English, science, computer, mandarin, music, art, and physical education & fitness. The Ivy School program is planned as an integrated curriculum.
Our curriculum is the result of ongoing researches assisted by US Department of Educations and several top 20 US schools as our strategic partners. It reflects our relentless pursuit for our rich academic background as well as our involvement with the most current educational best practices and philosophical thought.
