Indonesia Kerjasama (Indonesia: Living in Harmony) has been chosen to be the theme of this 72nd independence day. In his short remarks, our president Mr. Joko Widodo, encouraged every single Indonesia to stay in harmony despite all differences we have. In one accord to what has been stated, the chairperson of IVY Bhakti Pertiwi Foundation Ms. Juli Indawati, encouraged us to have three positive traits: respectfulness, loving, and companionate.
As a real response to what had been shared, IVY Elementary Students joined a community service. We tried to respect ourselves by getting ourselves much more diligent. Shortly after our flag ceremony on August 18, 2017, we decided to get every nook and cranny cleaned. Besides, we work hand in hand to sweep all dirt away. From all expressions captured, we could not find any unexpected countenance. They were all enthusiastic to give themselves into today’s event. We do really hope that our children will take a greater portion for our greater Indonesia in the following years. (Mr. Caleb)
Community helpers as a doctor is our theme for IVY first grader's field trip. Grade 1 students went to RS. Orthopedi dan Traumatologi Citraland on Wednesday, September 21st, 2016.
The doctor shared a knowledge about human bone. We saw small objects like blood cells in the microscope. We could see inside a ambulance car. And at the end of the field trip, the students also had an opportunity to get bone screening check up.
All the students were so excited about this field trip.
